Once you have completed your registration, please book your own flights to and from the Harry Reid International Airport (LAS). Flights should be booked in accordance with the OutSystems Travel policy/Ionic Travel Policy for your Geo, and within the travel guidelines noted below.

All flights should be booked no later than Wednesday, 01 November.

Can I book outside of my Geo's Tool/Travel Agent for a better flight?

Yes, you can, but it requires you to follow certain steps. You must attach to an email a screenshot showing the agency/booking tool quote and one showing the quote you found on another site. The screenshots should clearly show the schedule and/or price difference. Please explain why the flight you found outside the standard process is better i.e. the schedule allows you to arrive on the required day or depart on the required day or the price is significantly cheaper, etc. You must send this to your manager for approval in advance of making any booking. If approved, you can then proceed to book outside the tool and attach the email approval to the Expensify report indicating pre-approval.

Security measures restrict the amount of liquids and gels passengers can "carry-on" to the plane. To comply with these rules, each of your toiletries must be 3.4 oz. (100 ml) or smaller and you must place all the toiletries in a single quart-size zip-top bag (approximately 1 liter). Airlines strictly observe policies regarding items that cannot be included in carry-on bags, including any sharp or flammable objects, such as knives, razors, scissors, pocket knives, letter openers, etc. If any item is questionable, it is best to leave it at home or pack it in your checked luggage.

To minimize the effects of traveling, we recommend the following:

  • Wear comfortable clothing and footwear.
  • Keep yourself hydrated.
  • Avoid alcohol and caffeine consumption prior to and during your flight.
  • Eat small meals during the flight.
  • Stand up and stretch your arms and legs every few hours to encourage proper circulation.
